Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi, Founder, Director and Balletmaster of First UAE Youth Ballet Ensemble – Fantasia Ballet / Abu Dhabi /, was born in 1965, in Donetsk (Ukraine), in family with deep intelligent family history roots.

At the age of 9, Svetlana was chosen out of few hundreds little girls by ballet teacher's audition team and get excepted to study professional ballet education at Donetsk School of Choreography, which was represented world famous Vaganova's method of classical ballet.

During 1989 – 1991, Mrs. Svetlana was invited to work with many prestigious ballet company’s in Moscow and Ukraine, including performing tours in Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia, Moldova, Armenia, Poland, Bulgaria, Germany and others.

​In 1990, Mrs. Svetlana married to Mr. Abdulla Al Neyadi, and from that time her ballet career transfer to Abu Dhabi, UAE. In 1996, she was invited to teach First Ballet classes at Cultural Foundation. Within three months, first group of 5 ballet students at Children’s Center of Cultural Foundation was turn into two stable groups, 30 students each. 

​For the next 10 years of life, Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi were continue to teach ballet at Cultural Foundation, presenting each year spectacular ballet performances at the stage of Cultural Foundation Theatre.

​In 1998, interest of ballet training was gradually arise – Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi was open her private ballet school – Fantasia Ballet, while was continue to work with Cultural Foundation, until it was close for renovation. - Since 1998, Mrs. Svetlana was gradually teaching her students to present professional ballet standard of performing.​

​During 2000 – 2012, Fantasia Ballet, under direction of Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi, were performed in main stages of Abu Dhabi, Yearly, such Cultural Foundation, (1996 – 2008 ), Emirates Palace (2006, 2010), National Theater (2009 – 2018)

​In 2008 – 2009, Fantasia Ballet were represent UAE in International Festival of Arts in ARTEK, Crimea, Ukraine, where they receive many diplomas for professional ballet standard and best choreography.

​In 2010-2011, Fantasia Ballet, under direction of Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi, were represent UAE in 7th and 8th international Festival of Youth Ballet in Donetsk, Ukraine, in special invitation of worldclass Pisarev Ballet Company. Mrs. Svetlana lead her ballet students to achieve Title of Laureate 7th and 8th International Festival of Ballet “Gran – Pax”, bringing back home to Abu Dhabi Diploma of 1st Degree and special prize of Festival - Chrystal Rose – “for professional response and high ballet standard”

​In 2011, Fantasia Ballet in invitation of Embassy of Ukraine, were present choreography in “Small World”, Abu Dhabi.

In 2012, Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi and her daughters – Alia and Katren, become Winners of GR8 Middle East Women Award – for Best Talent in Ballet.

In 2018 , Mrs. Svetlana organized and choreographed and staged 20th Anniversary of Fantasia Ballet at National Theatre Abu Dhabi

Mrs. Svetlana Al Neyadi up to this moment continue gradually give ballet education to young generation of Abu Dhabi, bringing UAE in spotlight of ballet worldwide, dedicate all her life to develop ballet Art – as beautiful form of Performing Art – as important part of UAE culture.
