Mrs. Altynay Mazhikeyeva studied at the A. Seleznev Ballet Academy in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and graduated with honors in 1988.

She danced as a soloist at the State Academy Opera and Ballet Theater in Almaty from 1988-1990. Since 1990, she has been a soloist at the Moscow Ballet Festival under the leadership of S. Radchenko. Altynay worked and toured with the ballet stars of the Bolshoi Theater such as L. Semenyaka, M. Bylova, S. Radchenko, and much more.

Altynay Mazhikeyeva’s classical ballet repertoire includes Swan Lake, Carmen, Chopiniana, La Bayadere, Giselle, Fountain of Bakhchisarai, Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Laurencia, and much more.

In 2003, Altynay Mazhikeyeva founded her ballet studio, Philadelphia Dance Conservatory in Philadelphia, PA. With twenty-three years of experience, Altynay Mazhikeyeva continues to teach the language of ballet, body culture, and knowledge of folklore and dance culture from different countries. And from all of this, she gets great pleasure from the result of her students!
