The Jewels Festival Ballet Intensive – Competition Preparation Program is an exclusive 4-day intensive designed for dedicated ballet dancers who want to rebuild strength, refine technique, and prepare for the upcoming competition season.
Unlike the master classes offered during the Jewels Festival with our distinguished judges, this program provides a unique opportunity to train directly with the Co-Founders and Artistic Directors of the Jewels Festival. Participants will receive personalized coaching, detailed corrections, and valuable insight into what it takes to succeed on the competition stage.
Whether you are preparing for the Jewels Festival or any other competition, this intensive will help you return to peak performance before the season begins.

Ballet Level:
Intermediate/Advanced Level pointe is NOT required. Pointe work is available for dancers currently training on pointe.

This holiday season, Jewels Festival proudly presents The Nutcracker and invites young dancers to become part of this magical production!
OPEN AUDITIONS
Audition Fee: $30
Auditions will be held every Saturday, September 12 through October 3, 2026, at two locations:
Duet – School of Ballet
Saturdays | 11:00 AM–12:00 PM

COMPLIMENTARY AUDITION
The audition fee is waived for dancers who:
- Participate in the Jewels Festival Ballet Intensive – Competition Preparation Program, August 24–27, 2026, or
- Participate in the 11th Jewels Festival Ballet Competition, October 9–11, 2026.
Jewels Festival Competition participants do not need to attend a separate audition. Your performance at the competition will serve as your audition for The Nutcracker.
Casting will be based on the dancer’s age, level, technique, artistry, and performance ability.
REHEARSALS
Rehearsals will be scheduled on Saturdays, Sundays, and selected weekdays, depending on each dancer’s role in the production and availability.
We will create the rehearsal schedule based on the cast and make every effort to coordinate rehearsals with each dancer’s availability. Dancers will only be required to attend rehearsals scheduled for their specific roles.
